Beer and Balti
Calling all beer and balti lovers. We have just the tour for you! The Balti triangle in Birmingham is the celebrated centre and birthplace of the balti. Created in the 1970s by Pakistani restaurateurs, the dish was a phenomenon throughout the UK and has become synonymous, and sometimes confused, with curry in general. On this tour you will discover the truth about the unique preparation, history and taste of the true balti. We also visit the famous Two Towers brewery for a tour and tasting. You can’t beat a beer and a balti!

With the original machinery working again, you can experience how Newman Brothers once operated on a day-to-day basis, producing some of the world’s finest coffin furniture, including the fittings for the funerals of Churchill, Chamberlain and the Queen Mother.
